Since the weather was nearly perfect, it set the same tone for the whole day. With the exception of the wind whipping numbers off jumps faster than we could put them back on, the whole show ran like clockwork. Even with the jumping running at the same time, there were very conflicts.
The jumping course was fun but challenging (especially with numbers disappearing!). Even though it was the first time on a jumper course for a lot of the riders, they picked it up quickly and put in some great rides and fun jump offs. The course tended to favor the more handy jumper so even the small guys still had a good chance.
The gymkhana as always had the final say in which team would claim the top team title and it was Stephanie Meek's day as she dominated the adult novice gymkhana and pulled enough points to push her team to the top.
